The Retractable Mount allows the joystick to be moved to the side and back for environmental access and clearance without rotating. This makes it possible to drive up to tabletops, desks, and counters while the user is still able to access the joystick. It also can facilitate forward transfers by safely moving out to the side. The joystick can also be placed at any angle for better hand access and will retract in either direction (left or right).
